The United Way of Johnson County’s Day of Caring promotes the spirit and value of volunteerism, increases the awareness of local human service agencies, and demonstrates what amazing things people can accomplish while working together for the good of our community.
Day of Caring has become the largest single-day volunteer event in Johnson County, with 15 United Way of Johnson County agencies that participate each year. Annually, hundreds of volunteers from local business, governments, faith-based organizations, community volunteers and donors partner with United Way to give back to our community during this day of service.
