United Way of Johnson County receives 94 percent of our funding through donor pledges and contributions. Six percent is raised through special events, other revenues, and grants.  Our annual campaign includes:

  • Raising $1,537,000  in 2017-2018 by a group of dedicated local volunteers, a board of directors and employees.
  • Spending 82 cents of every $1 raised on local services.
  • Allocating 18 cents of every $1 contributed for fundraising and administration of services and programs.
  • Meeting with hundreds of people throughout the community to share the stories about the 18 local agencies and eight programs funded by UWJC.


    How You Can Help

    Company Campaign

    Ask your supervisor if your company currently runs a United Way of Johnson County campaign. If they do not, you can still give to United Way through one of the methods below.
