Operation Bundle Up

This is a program that provides new and gently used winter coats to children and families in Johnson County. UWJC partners with schools in Johnson County to collect coats throughout the fall. Milto Cleaners cleans all donated coats, and they are distributed in late fall.

We would like to thank Milto Cleaners, Heartland Community Bank, Crystal Graphics, Jannette Koon and Franklin Church of Christ for once again sponsoring the Operation Bundle Up program in 2011.

Interested in donating a new or gently used winter coat?
New and gently used winter coats can be donated at most Johnson County schools or can be dropped off at different collection sites throughout the county. They can also be donated at the United Way of Johnson County office. If you would like to collect coats, click here for a promotional flyer to display in your business. Please note that in order to ensure all coats are cleaned prior to the distribution event, they must be to the UWJC office no later than Friday, October 21, 2011.

Interested in attending the Operation Bundle Up distribution event?
This year's Operation Bundle Up distribution event will take place on Friday, November 4th from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at Franklin Church of Christ in Franklin. This is the same location that the event was held in 2010. There is no pre-registration required for this event. United Way of Johnson County's Operation Bundle Up is open to Johnson County residents only; you must bring your proof of Johnson County residency to the event.
